Minitech was founded in 1997 and has since been built up to become a Medtech company, located in Ridabu, Norway and a subsidiary since 2020 in Malung, Sweden. Minitech specializes in the development and manufacture of medically certified heating aids for orthopedic clinics and authorities. Since its inception, Minitech has become a market-leading player in the Norwegian market and, through its subsidiary, has expanded to the rest of the Nordic region.
Minitech's heating aids are manufactured for people in need of extra heat due to impaired natural ability to keep the body warm through blood circulation. Today, Minitech's product range consists of gloves, mittens, socks and soles, and is also developing a new product against hypothermia.
