Since the company was founded in the 1970s, Ilmeg Products AB has manufactured self-developed dust collectors for the mining and construction industry. With previous experience of working as CEO for the Atlas Copco Alpine region, Magnus Eriksson saw development potential in Ilmeg and the chance to contribute with his knowledge in product development. Together with his wife Madde Eriksson, they bought the company and developed Ilmeg to become a well-established manufacturer of dust collectors globally. Behind the growth of recent years lies a new generation of dust separators that has a patented technology.
Ilmeg is today one of the few companies in the world that specializes in product development and manufacturing of dust separators intended for use in drilling of porous rocks, drilling where water cannot be used to extract dust. The dust separator has a patented technology that automatically cleans the filters in the dust separator during use.
